OLD FRIENDS AND NEW! Please join us for music, food and fun and help our favorite Granger get a wheelchair and get going again!
Sponsored by the Niwot Historical Society, this presentation will be at the Left Hand Grange Hall in Niwot. Representatives of Boulder County will talk about
the outstanding work on the Altona School and other restoration work on trails in the
Niwot area as recovery work from the 2013 flood. This will be a town hall meeting and would be open to anyone who wants to
view the great work Boulder County does to restore and provide parks in Boulder
County. Future plans to renovate the little Firehouse Museum in Niwot this summer will also be discussed.

Co-op Populism in Times Past
In 1892, the Grange-powered Populist Party won the governor's seat in Colorado, and a year later women won the right to vote. Today
the term "populism" is making a comeback across the political spectrum. In the late 19th century, the movements that went by that name took
some very different forms, and they had cooperative economics at their
center. This meeting of the Colorado Co-ops Study Circle, will be at our historic Altona Grange founded in 1891. Learn more about the Grange Movement from 4th generation Grange member Donlyn Arbuthnot. Free and open to the public. www.meetup.com/Colorado-Co-ops-Study-Circle
Members and invited guests will be putting on their tartans and paisleys for a yuletide feast. BYOB and cookies for the cookie exchange. Call 303-443-3099 for more information.
